March Luncheon

ASHE Bluegrass welcomed guest speakers Mikael Pelfrey and Justin Harrod from KYTC last week as they discussed the future of Electric Vehicles in Kentucky and what KYTC is doing insure that the appropriate infrastructure is in place to support the use of EVs. January Luncheon

ASHE hosted a luncheon this week with guest speaker Stacee Hans from KYTC where she discussed the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor and provided updates about the funding and status of the project as well as conceptual designs that can be found on the project website. https://brentspencebridgecorridor.com/

July Luncheon

ASHE-Bluegrass recently hosted a luncheon where guest speaker Jason Siwula provided an overview of the Six-Year Highway Plan. Section President, Kevin Damron and Treasurer, Lee Carlisle also announced the winners of the ASHE Transportation Improvement Award.

Congratulations to American Engineers, Inc. – AEI and Palmer Engineering.

Palmer Engineering won in both categories

-Perry County, KY 15 in the Over $5 Million Category

-Hardin County, US-31W in the $5 Million and Under Category

American Engineers, Inc was the runner-up in the $5 Million and Under Category with their project in Warren County, US-231

Transportation Improvement Award Presentations

After a long hiatus ASHE-Bluegrass was able to get people back for an in-person meeting this week. The topic of this month’s meeting was the ASHE Transportation Improvement Award Project Presentations.
